Beginning the Registration Process:
Once you have made the decision to utilize all of the benefits of our Home Child Care Program, you will need to contact our Administration Office where our Administrative Assistant will guide you through a series of questions in order to match your needs with one of our many qualified Home Child Care Providers. Upon completion of the interview, you will receive a list of suitable Home Child Care Providers.   The number of referred Home Child Care Providers will depend on location and availability of childcare spaces and hours of care.

Next, you will need to contact the Home Child Care Provider to schedule a suitable time to meet them and view their home.   When selecting a Home Child Care Provider, you may want to consider the following items:

Qualifications, experience and professional development courses.
Daily routines, including indoor and outdoor activities, menus plans, child specific daily reports.
Health and safety practices.
Hours of care offered and available childcare spaces.
Behaviour management policies and practices.
Special needs services. (if applicable)
Illness or sick policies and procedures.
Parental involvement opportunities.

After you have selected a Home Child Care Provider, please contact our Administrative Assistant to schedule a registration appointment. Please ensure that you have your child's current and accurate immunization record and a void cheque or preauthorized withdrawal form from your banking institution.   Upon completion of the registration package, your child will begin care with their Home Child Care Provider.
